Dr. Jobinson Thomas is board certified in Nephrology & Internal Medicine. He has been practicing in Des Moines area since 2006. Dr. Thomas received his medical degree at Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Worcester Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Thomas completed Nephrology Fellowship at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois and Transplant Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has special interests in Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation Medicine. Dr. Thomas serves as Transplant Nephrologist at the Des Moines area hospitals.

Dr. Arsalan Alvi is board certified in Nephrology (Board Eligible) & Internal Medicine. He recently moved to the Des Moines area following completion of Fellowship. Dr. Alvi attended Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed Internal Medicine residency at the Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine/St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Maria Astra Fecundo, ARNP
Maria is a certified Advanced Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Maria is new to the Nurse Practitioner role but has been a practicing Registered Nurse since 2005. Maria is a Des Moines transplant, having received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Filamer Christian College, Philippines. Maria completed her Master's of Science in Nursing at Purdue University Global in Indianapolis, Indiana. Maria brings to our clinic more than a decade of dialysis nursing experience.
In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with them.
